IV. Purposes and legal bases of processing

You can visit this website without providing any personal information. When you use the website for information purposes only, we process the data that your browser transmits automatically in order to display the website. This includes: shortened IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to GMT, content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referring website, browser type and version, operating system and language. This data is stored in server log files and is not merged with other data sources.

We also use technically necessary cookies (for example session cookies and your language setting) to provide the website. These cookies are deleted after the end of your session. We do not use them to create user profiles or to analyse your browsing behaviour.

The legal bases for this processing are Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (provision of the website you request) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a functional, user-friendly and secure website).

If you contact us by e-mail, we process the personal data you provide (name, e-mail address, content of your message) in order to answer your request, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

V. Recipients

Within our company, only those employees who need your data to fulfil the purposes described above receive access to it. We also use service providers that operate the technical infrastructure of this website (hosting). These providers act as processors and are strictly bound by our instructions. Where necessary, we share personal data with our legal advisers in order to assert or defend legal claims.

VI. Transfers to third countries

No personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU or the EEA or to international organisations.

VII. Storage period

When the website is used for information purposes only, log data is deleted shortly after your visit. Data from enquiries is stored for the duration of the processing of your request and thereafter only as long as statutory retention obligations (for example under the German Commercial Code or Fiscal Code) require.

VIII. Your rights

Under the statutory conditions you have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), the right to withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).

The supervisory authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, e-mail: poststelle@lda.bayern.de. We recommend addressing any complaint to the controller first.

IX. Obligation to provide data

You are generally not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not do so, we may not be able to make this website available to you or to answer your enquiries.
