Patients are ready for healthcare AI — but trust comes first

A Salesforce survey of more than 3,200 patients across eight countries found that 61% are comfortable with agentic AI in healthcare, and 65% of patients with long-term conditions expect a 24/7 digital assistant to make managing their health easier. Patients are three times more likely to trust AI embedded in a clinical system than a public chatbot — and 89% want a clear route to a human.
